SOLJICA (pronounced SCHO-LYEE-TZA; try it, it's hilarious) means “a little cup” in Serbian, which obviously makes sense because that’s what they serve you your espresso in. And, when you think about it, a really good espresso is both an art and a science. Not unlike design, right?

After creating a complete design solution for this third-wave coffee shop that ultimately became my favorite place to hang out at (because of the amazing espresso, not because of the amazing design), it was intriguing to observe how this identity took on a life of its own and became a part of a modern culture of social media interconnectedness.
